Day 35

"See? I told you the hotel had waffles the size of Texas!"

In all seriousness, is there any other state besides Texas that is so full of itself? Or, as a native Texan puts it, just so proud to be from God's own land? I've lived in Texas for eleven years now, and Texan Pride never ceases to amaze me.
If you know of any of the other states where you can get a state-shaped wafflemaker, post it in the comments--you'll help settle a bet between Jeff and me!

  1. I love this one, too! They're all so good, Bri! (And I don't think Virginia has state-shaped waffle makers.)

  2. I have a West Virginia shaped cookie cutter, but sadly, not a waffle maker.

  4. I'm pretty sure that I've seen waffles in the shape of Colorado, Wyoming and Saskatchewan (CAN). Rectangles are pretty easy. ;)

  6. Of the five states I have lived there are two who are equally proud, but only Texas would have their very own waffle maker.

  7. Bri, I've never lived anywhere else where people have as much state pride as Texas. Everything is bigger and better in Texas! ;)

  8. You know, it is because Texas was it's own country first. We even have our own independance day! Texas ROCKS!

ETA: Ok, maybe not an actual country... I don't remember, but it is late and you know what I mean ;)
