Day 88

Kendra, Aspen, and Lily had all thoroughly enjoyed the evening social. Hors d'oeuvres, tea, and two hours spent discussing fall fashion--what's not to like?

Day 28

Today's picture may not make you laugh, but I know it will bring a smile to at least a few faces. I'm hoping that after four weeks straight of humorous photos, you'll indulge me for just a day without a play on words.

My cousin Micheal (no, that's not a typo!) is fighting cancer right now. She's nearly done with weeks and weeks of chemo, and will soon start a combination of more chemo with radiation treatment added. I'm not brave enough to shave my head completely in support of her brave fight and strong spirit, but this is my tribute to her as a show of solidarity. I'm so impressed with her inner strength and determination.

Bald is beautiful. Cancer stinks. Micheal, we salute you.
